Hello everyone, contributors and passing visitors.

Here we are at one of the final stages of the project that you have supported for two years!

LongPack Games completed manufacturing of AracKhan Wars on July 25, and sent us this little video to show you the final assembly of your core-boxes until they are stored in the shipping boxes:

All the products then left the LongPack warehouse, to be taken care of by the various logisticians responsible for transporting the cargo to its destination:

Hub France - Transport managed by Sparx Logistics - destination: Néoludis warehouse

On August 4, the container ship CMA CGM CONCORDE left the port of Yantian (near Shanghai, China) taking on board the precious container of AracKhan Wars. By clicking on the name of the boat, you can follow its route across the oceans. As we write these lines, it is approaching the Suez Canal! 😅

• Estimated arrival of the boat at the port of Dunkirk: September 3
• Recovery of the goods estimated by Néoludis in its warehouse in Normandy during the second week of September.
• Estimated start of shipments: third week of September.

Hub Asia-Oceania - destination: VFI Asia warehouse

On August 3, the games bound for Asia and Oceania arrived at the VFI Asia warehouse.

As of this writing, their team is finishing up packages for every backer in their zone, so shipments to everyone will be on their way. Shipping deadlines vary depending on whether you are located in China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand or New Caledonia.

We expect you'll start receiving your games by early September and we're counting on you to let us know!

Hub North America - Transport managed by Compass Logistics

• Destination #1: Bridge Distribution warehouse (Georgia), USA
• Destination #2: Pick & Pack warehouse (Ontario), Canada
  

August 4 was also the day games bound for North America were taken by partner Compass Logistics.

They were then loaded onto the container ship ZIM BANGKOK, which left port yesterday, Thursday August 17th. (A click on the name of the boat will allow you to follow it as well).

Estimated arrival at the port of Savannah GA, USA: September 20

We have not yet made the estimates with Bridge Distribution on how long it will take for the dispatch of the games from their warehouse (Smyrna, Georgia). We will communicate this information to you as soon as we have an overview.

We will ask Bridge to immediately prepare the shipment of the games to Canada, in order to waste as little time as possible for our contributors there (the road for their games is still quite long). Shipments for you, American backers will then begin immediately and we can hope that by mid-October, you will have your games in your hands in the United States.

The road is longer for you Canadian contributors, since the packages must be sent from Bridge Distribution to Pick & Pack (Mississauga / Ontario). Finally, your orders will be prepared and then shipped by them.

To conclude this news

You have already waited a long time, and you still have to wait! For us, it's hard too: our first real respite will only come when you have all your games in hand, so we remain fully focused until then, to facilitate any operation where we could intervene with our logisticians, while setting up the future of AracKhan Wars, which we'll tell you about once it's arrived.

Bonjour à toutes et à tous, contributrices, contributeurs et visiteurs de passage.
Nous voici à l’avant-dernière étape du projet que vous avez soutenu et porté depuis deux années !
LongPack Games a terminé totalement la production d’AracKhan Wars le 25 juillet, et nous a envoyé cette petite vidéo pour vous montrer l’assemblage final de vos core-box jusqu’à son rangement dans les cartons d’expédition : 

 La finalisation de l’assemblage de votre boîte de base de la saison 1, première édition, par les équipes de LongPack Games !

Tous les produits ont ensuite quitté l’entrepôt de LongPack, pour être pris en charge par les différents logisticiens chargés d’acheminer la cargaison à destination :

Le 4 août, le porte-conteneur CMA CGM CONCORDE a quitté le port de Yantian (près de Shanghai, Chine) embarquant le précieux conteneur d’AracKhan Wars. Hub Asie-Océanie - destination : l’entrepôt de VFI Asia

Le 3 août, les jeux à destination de l’Asie et de l’Océanie sont arrivés à l’entrepôt de VFI Asia.

Au moment où nous vous écrivons ces lignes, leur équipe est en train de terminer les colis pour chaque contributeur de leur zone, les envois à chacune et chacun ne vont donc pas tarder. Les durées d’expédition sont variables selon que vous venez de Chine, du Japon, de l’Australie, de Nouvelle-Zélande ou de Nouvelle-Calédonie.

Nous pensons que vous commencerez à recevoir vos jeux d’ici début septembre et nous comptons sur vous pour nous le faire savoir ! 😃

Hub Amérique du Nord - Transport géré par Compass Logistics

• Destination #1 : l’entrepôt de Bridge Distribution (Géorgie), USA
• Destination #2 : l’entrepôt de Pick & Pack (Ontario), Canada

Le 4 août, c’était également le jour où les jeux à destination de l’Amérique du Nord ont été emmenés par le partenaire de Compass Logistics.

Ils ont ensuite été embarqués sur le porte-conteneur ZIM BANGKOK, qui a quitté le port hier, le jeudi 17 août (un clic sur le nom du bateau vous permettra de le suivre également).

Arrivée estimée au port de Savannah GA, USA : 20 septembre

Nous n’avons pas encore fait les estimations avec Bridge Distribution de la récupération des marchandises pour arriver jusqu’à leur entrepôt à Smyrna, Géorgie. Nous vous les communiquerons dès que nous aurons une vue dessus.

Nous demanderons à Bridge de préparer immédiatement l’expédition des jeux à destination du Canada, afin de perdre le moins de temps possible pour nos contributrices et contributeurs là-bas (la route pour leurs jeux est encore longue derrière). Les expéditions pour vous, backers Américains commenceront alors immédiatement et on peut espérer que d’ici à mi-octobre, vous aurez vos jeux entre vos mains aux États-Unis.

La route est plus longue pour vous contributeurs Canadiens, puisque les colis doivent être acheminés de Bridge Distribution chez Pick & Pack à Mississauga en Ontario. Enfin, vos commandes seront préparées puis expédiées par ces derniers.

Un élément pour vous rassurer que cette opération de transfert États-Unis vers Canada se passe bien : Bridge Distribution et Pick & Pack se connaissent bien, ceci devrait assurer la fluidité du transport.

Pour conclure cette actu

Vous avez déjà beaucoup attendu, et il faut encore attendre ! Pour nous, c’est dur aussi : notre premier vrai répit n’interviendra que lorsque vous aurez tous vos jeux en main, nous restons donc pleinement concentrés d’ici là, pour faciliter toute opération où nous pourrions intervenir avec nos logisticiens, tout en préparant l’avenir d’AracKhan Wars, dont nous vous reparlerons une fois qu’il est arrivé.

We FINALLY have a date for you: next Thursday, July 20th, your games will be ready to leave the LongPack Games factory!

At this very moment, the LongPack team is finishing the assembly of the products and placing them progressively in the shipping area, in accordance with their final destinations.

LongPack Games know-how at work...

We will show you in the next update the assembly video of the core box when LongPack has finished working on it.

We are organizing transportation with our partners:

• VFI Asia, who is responsible for delivering the games to you in Asia and Oceania.
  
• Néoludis, which is responsible for delivering the games to you throughout Europe.
  
• Bridge Distribution, who is responsible for delivering the games to you in the United States, as well as sending the rest to Pick & Pack, who will deliver those of you living in Canada.
  

In the next project update, we will tell you which boats will transport your goods to France and the United States (which we will follow anxiously around the planet, while praying to the Great Old Ones that everything goes for the best 🫣). People residing in Asia and Oceania will fortunately not have these concerns and should be the first to receive their games.

We end this short news with some reading, that of the last two components of the game that we had not yet shown you, and we hope you will like them!

The Core Box’s One Page Rules

It should allow you to launch your first game in 5 minutes, without opening the rulebook. You will learn the basic principles of the game while playing. Of course, it does not replace the Introductory Guide, but reflects the accessibility of AracKhan Wars, which we have designed for the greatest amount of people.

The Strategic Guide of the Trail of Ashes Expansion

In this expansion, in addition to the 6 extremely powerful holo faction cards, the new battle mat and the rules of the Terrain mode with its dedicated cards, you will have access with the Strategic Guide to some great reading!

The idea of ​​this Guide is to accompany your progress in AracKhan Wars, by providing you with strategic advice that will certainly be useful to you during your confrontations.

In chapters dedicated to each faction, you will also find a plethora of tactical maneuvers, a specific review of the faction cards of this expansion and how to take advantage of them, as well as new lists of decks to vary your confrontations and give you ideas for developing how to play your favorite faction.

At the very end of this Guide, you will find a summary of the structure of a game according to the game mode(s) you have chosen. Finally, a small detail, at the turn of a short story by Lyesse “L.P. Henz”, you will meet Seneschal Arys Riven, who will give you a small insight into the ambitions of the Grey Order…

Nous avons ENFIN une date à vous communiquer : ce jeudi 20 juillet, vos jeux seront prêts à quitter l’usine de LongPack Games !
En ce moment-même, les équipes de LongPack sont en train de finir l’assemblage des produits et de les placer au fur et à mesure dans la zone d’expédition, en fonction de leurs destinations finales.

Le savoir-faire de LongPack Games à l’œuvre...

Nous vous montrerons dans la prochaine actualité la vidéo d’assemblage de la core box quand LongPack aura terminé son travail.

Nous sommes en train d’organiser le transport avec nos partenaires :

•  VFI Asia, qui est chargé de vous livrer les jeux en Asie et Océanie
   
•  Néoludis, qui est chargé de vous livrer les jeux dans toute l’Europe.
   
•  Bridge Distribution, qui est chargé de vous livrer les jeux aux États-Unis, ainsi que d’acheminer le reste chez Pick & Pack, qui livrera ceux et celles d’entre vous habitant au Canada.

Dans la prochaine actualité projet, nous vous indiquerons quels sont les bateaux qui transporteront vos biens pour la France et les États-Unis (que nous suivrons anxieusement à travers la planète, tout en priant les Grands Anciens pour que tout se passe pour le mieux 🫣). Les personnes résidant en Asie et Océanie n’auront heureusement pas ces soucis et devraient être les premiers à recevoir leurs jeux.

Nous terminons cette courte actu avec un peu de lecture, celle des deux derniers composants du jeu que nous ne vous avions pas encore montrés, et nous espérons qu’ils vont vous plaire !

Le Guide de démarrage rapide de la boîte de base

Il doit vous permettre de lancer votre première partie en 5 minutes, sans ouvrir le livret de règles. Vous apprendrez ainsi les principes de base du jeu tout en jouant. Il ne remplace bien sûr pas le Guide d’initiation, mais reflète bien l’accessibilité d’AracKhan Wars, que nous avons conçu pour le plus grand nombre.

Le Guide Stratégique de l’extension Traînée de Cendres

Dans cette extension, outre les 6 cartes de faction holo extrêmement puissantes, le nouveau tapis de bataille et les règles du mode Terrain avec ses cartes dédiées, vous aurez accès avec le Guide Stratégique à une riche lecture !

L’idée de ce Guide est d’accompagner votre progression à AracKhan Wars, en vous prodiguant des conseils stratégiques qui vous serviront à coup sûr lors de vos affrontements.

Dans des chapitres dédiés à chaque faction, vous trouverez également pléthore de manœuvres tactiques, une revue spécifique des cartes de faction de cette extension et la manière d’en tirer parti, ainsi que de nouvelles listes de decks pour varier vos affrontements et vous donner des idées pour développer votre manière de jouer votre faction préférée.

À la toute fin de ce Guide, vous trouverez un récapitulatif de la structure d’une partie en fonction du ou des modes de jeu que vous aurez choisi. Enfin, petit détail qui n’en est pas un, au détour d’une courte nouvelle de Lyesse “L.P. Henz”, vous ferez connaissance avec le sénéchal Arys Riven, qui vous donnera un petit aperçu des ambitions de l’Ordre Gris…

Hello dear contributors and passing visitors,

we are back with a delay but with concrete progress to share with you. Without further ado, here is the summary of this project update:

1- Production status as of today

Here is the latest information we got from our project manager at LongPack Games (he and his team are currently at the UK Game Expo, we are expecting his return next week for more info):

All the elements of the game are printed, except for two that remain to be done for which we have to send the files: the Strategic Guide of the Trail of Ashes expansion and the game's one-page rules which will be in the core box that we have decided to add along the way.

Then there will be the assembly of these two products, and finally the separation of the products in relation to their major geographical destinations: North America, Asia-Oceania and Europe.

Unfortunately, we were unable to retrieve the videos and photos of the production that we wanted to share with you (and that we too would have liked to see). We will show them to you in the next update.

We really hope that production will end soon; we will publish the next update as soon as it is, with photos of the games in the truck ready to leave. This is the final stretch, so we are still counting on your patience and kindness!

2- Mass-production Sample Review

By early May, we had received the samples from mass-production which we then thoroughly analyzed to share our feedback with LongPack and iron out some details together.

Improvements between pre-production and mass-production samples

Compared to the pre-production samples we showed you in project news #55, we have seen improvements on the following aspects:

Core box

1. Introductory guide: the reddish tint of the background of the pages of the guide has been corrected, as well as the two typos that had been identified.
    
2. The box’s sides and back presented problems on certain icons: they have been corrected.
    

Trail of Ashes expansion

• The reddish tint of the Byartour battle mat has been fixed.
   
• The 6 holographic cards are now quite flat (they were curved in the previous samples).

For the first time since the beginning of the development of AracKhan Wars, we have in hand the real products. And the final quality is beyond our expectations. The offset printing is really much better quality than the digital prints we had until now, all the elements of the game are more detailed and the color rendering is flawless!

Final improvements requested for mass-production

These samples were the last opportunity to make a last minute adjustment to improve the products. Here are the changes that are applied to your games, compared to our samples:

Core box

• Removal of the the mat’s plastic bag in accordance with the instructions already given.
   
• Addition of foam blocks in the 4 slots occupied by the decks of card, to prevent them from wandering around in the box during transportation.
   
• Order of the components: the token punchboard will be placed above the 4 posters, in order to prevent the tokens from detaching and falling into the box during transportation.
   
• We have decided to place large sachets of desiccant salts around the packages inside the containers, rather than directly in the game boxes. This is to avoid attracting humidity inside the boxes and thus preserve all the paper/cardboard elements.
   
• Added a One-Page rules, so you can get your first game started right out of the box, without having to read the entire Introductory Guide.
   

Trail of Ashes expansion

• Removal of the mat’s plastic bag
   

3- Logistics

We are currently preparing shipping lists for your games to the three targeted geographic areas where they will be collected by each fulfillment partner, before they ship them to you.

European Union

• An almost full container will leave for Normandy in the warehouse of Néoludis, our distributor in France, which will ensure shipments to contributors.
   

Asia-Oceania

• Two potential partners are in the running to take care of this area, we will make our choice during the next week.
   

North America

• A container will leave for the United States with all your United States + Canada pledges for  Bridge Distribution (near Atlanta).
   
• From there, games for our Canadian backers will be shipped to Pick & Pack Logistics (near Toronto). One of the aspects of this choice was guided by the fact that these two logisticians, in addition to their professionalism, know each other very well. This will facilitate the transmission of information and hopefully the overall quality of service.
   
• The games will then be delivered to you by one or the other, depending on whether you live in the United States or Canada.
